Post games that YOU think should be remade to for next gen gaming (current gen, if you want to call it that), just post the game, what you want to be remade in it and if you want, post a video to show some gameplay. Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire Definately a Cult Classic, the soundtrack was incredible, the graphics were pretty good (for an N64), it had some depth in it with different weapons, jetpack controls, different camera angles, and a precise aim mode. I also loved how real it was (with combat and damage), what i would love to see remade in it would be physics, graphics, and have it have an over the shoulder point of view like from RE4, but with the same (or atleast most of the same levels) levels and new ones, but with the same main character and with enhanced AI. (PC version is a little different, framerate is lowered, and it's not the complete level) Arcanum Of Steamworks and Magic Obscura A 3rd person free roaming RPG like no other, choices were nearly unlimited in this game and even give baldurs game a run for its money. This game had basicaly everything you could possibly think of, theres just so much in it you cant possibly explain all of it with words. I want a remake of it, in 3rd person, but with physics, far greater graphics, more choices and skills, more variants of enemies (and theres TONS of different kinds of enemies) and more character customization with a more interactive combat system. (you can also choose between turn based combat or real time)

I would love to have Arcanum recreated with modern technology, also with a possible combat fix up. That would be absolutely brilliant.

Another one... the original Fallout's.

I don't really want any games to be remade. They'd invariably turn out to be crap or simply not the same, and your memories of the game you once loved would become sour. The games still exist, play them as they were meant to be.

I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of Codename:Eagle, though the battlefields series pretty much cover that territory (not surprising since BF1942 sprouted from this game).

The Wing Commander series, including Armada and both Privateer games aswell.

Blade Runner.

Syndicate + Syndicate Wars.

Star Wars: Supremacy (Rebellion outside of UK).

The X-Com series. (Let's face it, the UFO series just isn't quite X-Com!)

Jagged Alliance games.

No doubt I'll think of more later, but that's the ones off the top of my head anyway:lol:

Just think of it as a makeover, this IS fictitious after all, i mean, sure they COULD happen, but the point of this topic is to choose games you would want to be remade in your vision, so technicaly it could very well retain anything you wanted it to. Some remakes are quite awesome though, like the new Turok, that game was awesome (even though it was completely unrelated to the other turoks), and the Gamecube remake of MGS1 was actualy better in most opinions, then the original.
