It could be worse, they could be using securom or starforce and supporting those worthless piles of donkey dung.

For one I sincerely hope they make the authentication a bit more lax than it is now. I've had plenty of ranked games punch me out in the beta stating that a connection the authentication server was lost and to check if steam was running.

/me checks and voila steam is running an internal update.

With Steam you don't even need to do that. Once a game is done downloading via Steam, it's already installed and ready to go. p

Point of view I guess. My orange box rests nicely on a bought dvd instead of being purely in sphere if fictual and digital streams :P
