- Diablo II (+LoD) - been playing it on and off for the better part of 7-8 years, talk about staying power
- Zone of Enders or Shadow of the Colossus - can't decide between the two, both were soo very good)
- Metal Gear Solid
- Grand Theft Auto 4 - aside from the graphics, it was a step back from San Andreas
- Halo 3 - couldn't get past the fact that it was Halo 2 with some extra polish, it was bad sequel, much like GTA 4
- Killzone - possibly one of the worst shooters I've ever played, the sequel is a lot better though
Best- (This is damn near impossible to decide on) 1.The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind - I think I poured more time into the mods than the stock game, but that's part of the beauty of the game. Combine that with the massive world and you've got a top notch game.
2. Half-Life 2- Best game of all time.
3. Either the CoD franchise (specifically UO) or the Ace Combat franchise. I can't decide which.
1. Superman 64 - Shitty by anyone's standards.
2. Super Mario 2(American version)- Simply because all they did was take a Japanese game and replace the main characters with Mario characters.
3. Counter Strike(and CS:S)- I've hated this game for as long as I can remember. Maybe I wouldn't mind it if servers played something other than those piece of shit textureless maps.
I want some explanations from a few people though.
Nitestryker- Il2? What was bad about that game? A huge number of WWII fighters, perfect controls (provided you had a joystick), a huge amount of variaiton in the realism, and not too bad of graphics for a big flight sim.
Serio- CoD4? What is wrong with this game? I almost can't come up with a negative thing to say about it. The only thing I don't like are the helicopters.
And the various people who said GTA4 and Halo 3. Do you honestly think these games are the WORST YOU HAVE EVER PLAYED? Really think hard about that. Did you throw the controlers down in disgust? Maybe youj ust havn't played games like Superman 64 to understand what a truly bad game is. I don't particularly like GTA4 or the Halo series, but they are far from the worst games ever.
Top 3: 1. Star Wars: Shadows of the empire 2. Star Wars: Jedi Outcast 3. S.TA.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl (so many to chose for my #3)
Worst 3: 1. Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (the combat system was HORRIBLE) 2. Donkey Kong (NES) 3. Perfect Dark Zero

One word: Hype. It was more hyped, and still is, than any other game. I liked it, but in comparison to the hype it was given, I would consider it a failure.

So because it was hyped that means it is one of the top three worst games you've ever played? You say you enjoy it, yet it is in the top three worst. I think people don't understand what worst really means.

For a flight simulator it was pure crap. Buggy as hell none of my controls worked and it just pissed me off. Played ten minutes, uninstalled it and returned it.
And I had a joystick.
Ive played a bunch of flight sims and they all have their good and bad points but that one just hit me in all the wrong spots.
Here are the best and worst online multiplayer games I have played till today.:deal:
BEST - 3; Lord of the rings World of warcraft Age of shadows
WORST - 3; Superman 64 Dark night Super Mario 2
Best 3: - Team Fortress 2 (maybe the most fun class-based shooter ever) - Half Life (1 & 2, plus all the mods, including Counter-Strike) - Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (ESIII was good, but I didn't like combining first person with background dicerolling for hits. Then again, I'm an shooter guy, so it really didn't gel well with me. Oblivion was different, and made me love the ES series.) Worst 3 (or games I hate playing the most): - Every James Bond game after GoldenEye (in all fairness, the bar was set really, really high to begin with) - Perfect Dark Zero (quite possibly one of the biggest disappointments ever) - Halo 2 (terrible balance flaws, like turrets where there shouldn't be turrets, shotguns that do random damage, incredibly overpowered sniper rifles, and a power sword that didn't have a charge and thus could be held for the entire round if the person was good enough. Puke)
Best: Half Life 2 God of War Halo:CE (the game that got me into games) Worst: Too Human (Seriously some of the WORST controls EVER) Assassin's Creed Super Smash Bros. (you can literally win a match by hitting the controller against your ass)
Best for me: Armada 2 Armada 1 Starcaft (What can I say I like RTS games)
Worse: 1) Sar Trek New Worlds 2) Sim City 3) Undying
