What have you learned from playing video games? from such things as words and their meanings, actions, tactics, basically anything and have you used these skills that you have learned in real life?
I'd have to say the main thing i've learned from playing games is how to use firearms, not saying that i could use one on someone, probably could for a good reason, but how to load, reload, partial disassemble etc. But I have never fired a firearm, yet
Tactics I guess, I can pretty much lead a small team to success occasionally but usually(if they listen to me).
In games like Rakion, but in CoD4.... everyone's mostly a solo-ist.
English, and thats alot. You learned the basics in school and now you can own the rest by playing games
Learning how and when to stop playing video games.

Same here. My English probably wouldn`t be this good if I relied only on what I`ve learned in school. And I mostly play FPS games. Yay! FPS games are educational. :p
Yep, so many english speaking people calling you a noob.
Oh don`t worry about me. I always have some witty response in my sleeve. Plus, I can always say something in my language and read their "WTFs".
My message doesnt make sense. I was in a rush and I had to write it quickly, and somehow I mixed the forums up and that games was the subject. Anyways what I meant was that Ive learned tons of English by playing games, and that I learned the basics from school, but the word knowledge derives from the games.
Sonic the Hedgehog taught me how to count. Who would have thought collecting all those rings could be so educational?
