While some people were playing Zelda, others of us were playing Sesame Street. Mostly found on the PC, we played videogames and learned from them. Oh what fun times.
What are some of the games people played growing up?
I personally played Mario is Missing, such an exciting game
I don't remember playing "learning" games when I was young :/
We played some math learning thing at school, along with some game (sort of) that was supposed to teach typing. Those are the only "learning" games i can think of.
I remember playing Mystery math or something like that, it was that green guy with a horn. On a mission to save someone from the mad scientist or something.
In the entire mansion stuff pops out and asks you a math question (these were high school math questions when I was in elementary school... I couldn't do them)
Math Blaster, Jump Start series, Gizmos and Gadgets. All great times. Those games rocked.
Quake. Yes, the first Quake. You have no idea how much I've learned from it. :D Seriously now. I never played what are considered to be educational games. That's mainly because I couldn't find almost any in my country and those I could find were completely boring to me, so I skipped them. Besides, blowing up zombies with the Grenade Launcher was more educational. :p
I'm guessing you have one of these at your house tri.
I don't recall playing any "learning" games. My parents kicked it up old school, yo.
A few of those "brain" games, i think.
