List of MMOs I've played at one point or another:

Asheron's Call Dark Age of Camelot Matrix Online Final Fantasy XI Online FlyFF Star Wars Galaxies Guild Wars City of Heroes Knight Online Turf Battles SpaceCowboy Online Conquer Online Runescape (Yuck, I'm glad I grew out of that one fairly quick...) World of Warcraft Silkroad Online GunZ Rappelz

As for which ones I'd rate where...

1) Guild Wars 2) SpaceCowboy Online 3) GunZ 4) Final Fantasy XI 5) World of Warcraft

(Ones in dark red symbolise pay-2-play MMOs. Just in case, so that I don't inadvertently fool anyone into thinking they're free...)

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

Hello ^^

I played Dofus for about 4 months (1 free, 3 months registered) on Menalt (server name, for those who wouldn't know it) but I stopped. I think that's the only MMO I played so far... so I guess I can't really give you a top 5 xD

Odyssey Ultima Online Star Wars Galaxies EVE Online (one more that I can't name at the moment)

I'm still dreaming of a Privateer Online.

I have actually never played an MMORPG. Back in the days of Everquest I used dialup, so online gaming was off limits to me. Now that I have hi-speed, I really don't want to pay for the subscription MMOs (which I generally understand to be the best), and I suppose I've just never gotten into any free ones... I did play a Persistant World on NWN for a long time, but that's not quite an MMO at all.

I only play one and thats Guild wars id play WoW and Star wars galaxies but they cost monthly which i think is a rediculous thing since you pay like £40 for them and then they make you pay an extra fiver a month!

1. Face of Mankind beta 2. Project Entropia 3. Second Life

None of them I played for more than a week or so. The genre doesn't really do anything for me.

Does Diablo 2 Battle.net count? Runescape (est. 1 day) Priston Tale (est. 1 week) Guild Wars (est. 6 months) GunZ (est. 2 weeks) Silkroad Online (est. 1 day) Everquest 2: Trial Isle (est. 1 day) World of Warcraft (hopelessly addicted since Septembr 2005 :() And this FPS MMO thing set in the future. It reminded me of Halo and actually wasn't that bad. Too bad WoW had already caught me at the time. Can't for the life of me remember the name though.

The (est. #) is an estimated time of how long I played it.

Planetside? I've heard of that, but haven't played it.

I have played 2 hours of Runescape. It was pretty boring, and I think I've had 3 characters over the course of 3 years to figure out why my friend liked it. Never did. :uhm:

I've been wanting to try Planeshift, since that one works in Linux. And it doesn't look as bad as Runescape (not just the graphics...) so I'm hoping that it may be okay. :nodding:

Other than that, though, I simply haven't had enough interest in the genre to really bother with any of it.
