I'm spending a year dead for tax reasons.

Just curious, because, for PC at least, I've not seen them on sale anywhere, except for the crap £5.99 Tommy Walsh's Gardening Simulator crap in Tesco or whatever.
I still have a shelf with PC games, and the most recent thing on there is Quake 4.

PC? The most recent physical disk I bought was Rocksmith 2014. It is a great way to practice, learn songs, and keep your skill fresh.
As far as that 30 day challenge of learning to play from scratch, no. It is not a teaching tool. It is a practice tool.
I got that game because I had not even touched my guitar in years. Life being life, I had hit rock bottom, and was ready to give up on life, but I knew from prior experience that guitar was my therapy. It worked.
And then....just a few months after I got Rocksmith, I was referred to this band looking for a bassist. Basically, I got Rocksmith to get myself playing more, but I am now doing it in real life again, so I have not even touched Rocksmith once since then.
