im going to setup a clan for an fps (first-person shooter) game but not sure which tld would be best to use out of
.com - commercial
.net - network
.org - organization
.info - informational
which tld do you think is best to use?
What ever is cheapest bro ;)
But personally i would go for .net or .org. One could consider a 'gaming clan' is an organization ... or ... a invite based social network. :)
Which FPS game btw?
i was thinking .net or .org too but like you don't know whether to go for .net or .org
im not sure whether to just setup a standard website with forum or do something different like setup a video sharing network type of site. .tv tld would be good for this
i need to decide whether it be just a standard community type of clan or setup a video sharing network type of site
this if for f.e.a.r combat btw. its the only multiplayer game i play esp because its free
i have no idea what domain name to go for or which clan name to use though. my younger bro thought a few up but none of them stood out heh
i have a dedicated server which i use for other sites i host and have spare server resources is all so may as well put it to use innit. if i could get some donations coming in or setup some paid membership kind of system to help pay for the dedi server that would be a bonus
Does anyone else see the irony in trying to copyright a site name when the site name itself is a copyright infringement? :giggle:
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
