To get some work done Avoid eye strain Avoid the feeling that I'm wasting my life away

Those are usually my reasons.

You mean like quit playing temporarily or like give up altogether?

I thought it was in reference to players that drop out of an mp match before it's finished. The question was too vague to really know though.

Their mothers tell them to get off They have to eat dinner They have a wal-mart connection and they get disconnected They are angry and no longer wish to be owned, traditionally called a rage-quit They feel like being dicks They worry about ruining their K/D ratio They're about to get laid

That's all I can think of atm I think the last one is just about the only legitimate reason, but that's me.

That last one is irrelevant.

Boredom. A game stops entertaining after the first days/weeks/months/years, and that entertainment's why ya play the game in the first place. :p

I've played Jedi Academy for over 4 years, I know all about being bored out of your skull with a game XD

Pretty much the same as Caelum here. Boredom would be the main reason as to why I quit certain games entirely. For instance, extremely repetitive games such as Prototype can get very boring.

Time really isn't a problem, so I don't take that into account, for the time being.
