It seems that every game developer in the world has a need to fix what is not broken. AA2.1 is no exception. The new animations are really cool, but that's where it ends. The change in physics and game play has really hurt what was a fun game. If I want high tech I'll go buy the new game on the block, but I played AA, because it was simple fun. I guess that was not good enough for the developers. They could have at least tested it a little more before dumping it on the public. It is buggy and a server nightmare. I have been dropped more times then I can count from critical errors that weren't there before. It is so laggy now at times it's unplayable. So bravo with the upgrade it wasn't needed and it doesn't work. Signed a very irritated stockholder in the company ( I pay my taxes for this stuff.)

congragulations, you disapointed. just delete 2.1 and go re-download/install 2.0a and stop bitching.

What a great well thought out reply. There are so many servers still running the old software that there will be no problem finding a place to play.

I agree, the new eye candy is great. but they could have done something more original with the 2 new maps. All they are is reworked versions of SF CSAR and Mountain Pass. What about somthing different like a cruise ship/oil tanker taken over by terrorists, or a multi-story (3+ levels) building that needs to be captured

the whole 'taken over by terrorist' thing wouldn't work unless it was a miles training map where one team plays teh opfor (like River Basin). becaue incase you haven't noticed you always play as a US Soldier.

I haven't had any problem with 2.1, less lag for me, and I love the new rate of fire change ^_^

i have less lag(as ping Spikes), and slightly improved accuracy while moving. thats where the improvements stop

higher average ping, critical errors every 20 - 30 minutes after joining a server, PB OS Exception errors, still have same low fps in highest or lowest graphics settings, this problems have suddenly appeared since the update, most updates are meant to fix things, an this one does a god job of that. now they need another update just to address these specific problems
