No, not really. It is no where on the scale of, say, 2002-2003.

Okay why do you think so?
Grishrak;4536951I think 09 will be bigger
Yes you might be right, I mean with all the nice games coming out, that year will rock.
08 is a mediocre year. not terrible, but not great either. I've got to agree with Grish, 09 looks much more promising. Sure, lots of good games this year, but nothing incredibly ground breaking or mind blowing.
Should this not be in General Gaming...?

I'd say, no.
The younger generations of gamers might think so, but the older generations will just see further examples of the industry's decline.
Sure the games being put out are of a good standard, but they're not taking the industry anywhere. At best, it's stagnant. Worst-case scenario, it's devolving.
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
Admiral_Antilles;4546078Should this not be in General Gaming...?
It could have been made there but it isn't missplaced in the D either. Ot could go into both places. It's about games in general (GG forum) but to a general extend...
Hmm...
:moved: from GD to GG but it doesn't matter that much if you ask me.
GTA IV was ok, but it will mark the beginning of a new reformed GTA series on Xbox and PS3.. other than that? not much else to speak of..
