A couple weeks ago, my buddy introduced me to a game that I've never heard of before, World War II Online. Its one of the most realistic games I've ever played. Granted the graphics aren't all that swell, but, you have absolutely no lag within the game. Some of the realism that the game has: if you hit a bump while riding on the opel truck, you're gonna fall out, if you take a bullet, you'll live (depending on where hit), but your stamina will lower, and you'll kinda wobble/see red, if you're flying a plane and you do a nose dive or a tight turn, you'll most likely pass out from the G-Force. This game isn't like Battlefield 1942 though, you wont be able to spawn as a rifleman and just take a tank, you'll have to spawn in as a tank, then a soldier, or a plane. You don't get to just take whatever vehicle you want when you feel like it. Also, the map is half scale, so if a town is 20km away, it'll be 10 km away. The only setback for the game is that you must pay to play, and buy an activation code. The entire process takes about $33.00, but then its just $12.99 a monthroll%20eyes%20%28sarcastic%29.gif. So has anyone else ever played/tried this game before?

No... i never heard of it, Can you find a website related to that game? I think that the more realistic games are, the boring it is however, The more realistic it is in War Games, the more excitement it gets... If it is better than Medal Of Honor and Battlefeild and Call of Duty combinded then damn, ill get it.

Yeah, I've heard about it. The graphics blow, and it can take hours to get to the action, since it's basically a cross between an FPS and a MMORPG, and Europe is scaled down to half. But they do real time stats on the games site, and talk about the actions that the players have done, like take a village or bomb some buildings. It sounds cool, but then I think it's toooooo realistic. I love realism, but this much is just boring. You need like 3-4 people to drive a tank, and you walk around for hours. Plus you have to pay monthly. Me, I'm sticking with Forgotten Hope. But Battlefield most likely got its idea from WW2 online, but they made it way better.

Yeah, its: www.wwiionline.com And if you do get it, put my name in under the "member name tab". It's "spiffy". (no quotes:)) As to master, if you love realism, why don't you like this game? I can understand the graphics part, but as to the whole taking hours to go to one place... In real life that's how long it'd probably take to get there. It takes hours to actually reach battle because in the war, it did take awhile. your best bet would be to spawn in at a forward base that is under attack and try to defend it. And it only takes one person to man a tank, it just works out better if you have 2+ people in it. I forgot to mention, everyone in the game has a different face. That face will stick with you for the entire game.

Panzer, they only charge monthly because of the incredible amount of people that the servers hold and manage, and to help pay for the developers. The graphics are bad because they need a way of keeping the game lag free, and it seems like the graphics were the things that got cut. You have to remember though, that this game is played througout the world, I have a buddy in Sweden, another in the UK, Germany, and one in Singapore that all play this game with myself and we all get a kick outta it. We normally stick together and play like the real deal... that's the beauty of this game.

id rather have excellent gameplay then great graphics and crappy gameplay... BF1942 just isnt fun anymore.
