after playing this game up through the 5th land i realised that the wall structure and combat engine would fit wonderfully into a LoTR genre game. the greeks would be the Free People and the Aztecs could be the Armies of Suron(sp) the norse could be the elves and the japanese well we could think of something.

but if the creature were to be removed then the foucsed switched to building and attacking then you got yourself a great set up for the LoTR.

i can elaborate more if you would like. but if anyone is willing to help i need someone to code. becase i can model and texture but i might need help on that too.

thanks, but i also need help from those who cannot code but wish to help... i need ref pics for models, concept art for buildings, and animators and modelers oh and texture artists

Sounds like it will be an awsome mod, but how are going to get rid of the creature? Remember the sauron army had giant trolls(just give the ape a new modded skin)

Hmmm maby someone could make like a freeze code for the creature,which will keep it so its like a stachue. and then and invisable code to cove the creature and/or change the routh of the game and dispose of the start island where u get ur creature.( sorry bout ma spelling had very little time to write)

Miracles = Magical Stuff. Creature = Hero Figure.

Armies would need to be much much bigger and attaining huge armies should be much much easier.

Overall this does not sound like a hard mod to, at the very least, get a basic version of.

Miracles could simply be edited slightly to reflect that it is a wizard, or a large group of wizards, that is casting the miracle. That would explain why they can be used over a large area and not jus tin the presence of a single warror.

As for the creature, it can be made into a hero unit. Someone can make a model that is the same size as a normal person [if that is what is desired] but has cool armor or something. The code can be tweaked so that he never gets bigger. Ai will also need to be tweaked so he behaves more like a person would, ie, no eating villagers or any jazz like that. Also, this Hero's anti-infantry attacks would have to be changed and reanimated since he wont be stomping around on people.

Basically all thats needed is some modeling and tweaking. Naturally the real work will come in creating a complete building set for the bad buys and good guys, but in theory, there isnt much coding to be done.
