Basicaly just make up your own dream game. My dream game would have the same Lay out as the MGS series, in terms of controls, camera angles, gameplay except the character would be someone else and you could do alot more with your character then in the older MGS games. There would be levels instead of one continuos mission and you could choose to replay certain levels and at the beggining of each level you could choose from a given variety of weapons ranging from 4 distinct pistols, 4 different types of rifles, 4 different types of shotguns, 3 types of sniper rifles, 3 different types of rocket launchers, 5 grenade types, and 3 special weapons which would be something like a flamethrower, electronic zapper, or a grenade launcher, and you would also be able to choose one weapon from each category except for grenades which you could choose up to 2 grenade types. All your gear/gadgets would be instantly included. And like Rainbow six, you can find more types of guns further increasing your set amount of given weapons and if you go back to replay a mission you'll be able to use them since you found them. there would be a total of about 13 - 14 missions, each with it's own unique setting and each mission would be about 2 hours long, more or less depending on difficulty and how large the map/level is. After you beat the game you would unlock 5 different gameplay modes such as "Zombie hunt" which you would have to hunt down and eliminate 30 undead in one of 4 chooseable maps. "Info retrieval" you would have to go to the given destination to retrieve some type of material such as a breifcase, files, anything, and go back to the starting point killing as little people as you have to, and you could choose from 3 different maps. "Infiltration" you would have to infiltrate a facility and complete the objective such as planting a bomb, disabling an antenna, or anything else, and you could choose from 3 different maps. "Assassination" you would have to somehow assassinate your target in a high security area and there would be 4 chooseable maps. "Mayhem" you have to go into a base/outpost/facility and eliminate everyone, your given extra health, extra armor, extra ammo and extra damage and you could choose from 4 different maps. You will be rated each time you complete a map each of the gameplay modes and depending on your rating you will eanr more or less money which you can use to buy addons or upgrades to your weapons for singleplayer and the extra gameplay modes such as lasers, elongated barrels, different types of interchangeable ammunition, silencers, different ypes of sights, grenade launchers, tranguilizer ammunition, and you can also upgrade these bought parts too. In singleplayer and extra gameplay mode missions you can manage all these upgrades through your menu to attach or detach them. Features i haven't discussed: -Dynamic AI -Slightly destructible terrain/objects -Ability to change rate of fire -Stamina bar drains VERY slowly, .5% every 30 seconds but you can regain it by eating food, killing animals such as rats or looking in fridges to find food and eat, also everything you do wastes energy faster, running, firing a weapon, climbing, grabbing enemies, but you can regain energy also by going prone, for every 10 seconds your in prone you regain 1% of you stamina or if you turn your game off for several minutes then for every minute he regains 15% of his stamina (this can be achieved by your systems clock acting as the timer so when you turn your game on it will know hwo long your guy was "sleeping") -The same cure system as MGS3 (if your shot, cut, poisened, broke a bone, burnt, and so on and so forth and you have items that you can use to cure/fix these, so if you don't fix them they will continuely to slowly drain your health and stamina) -Dynamic camo and stealth system -Ability to hold up enemies and tranquilize/knock them out -Ability to radio in for some help on what to do -Environmental hazards -Dynamic environmental affects (such as destroying lights affects stealth, solidiers finding dead bodies will make them aware of your presence, so on and so forth) -The higher your stamina bar is the faster you recover your health -Disguises can be use'd by taking enemies clothing but if the enemy finds the body then your cover is blown and there aware of you -When soldiers become aware of your presence more of them come to that area but if you kill them they won't come back, if your character goes into a different area thrn gaurds will come to that area and the same will apply -Soldiers won't be alarmed if the other soldier is found tranquilized or knocked out -Realistic Damage system (soldiers will walk/run slower, and fall on one knee, if shot in the leg, they will drop there guns and lose the ability to use that arm if shot in the arm, headshots are instant kills, takes about 2 or 3 shots to the chest to kill a soldier, unless they are wearing some type of kevlar, and explosions stun enemies or kill them if close enough) -Locks can be shot or picked There are plenty more of things i could include but it seems that this is getting to be quite big so i'll leave it at that.
RTS genre: *space based 3D; *intelligent/adaptive AI; *epic storyline; *DX9-DX10 level graphics; *either archaic(Homeworld 1) or advanced(Sins of a Solar Empire?) economics and combat systems; *multi-system maps; *engaging environment; *SF type combat(no Newtonian crap) with realism in it(wrecks, debris fields, credible explosions, that sort).
That would be it by what I think, I am a simple man to please :D.
really simple:HOMM TotE combined with world in conflicts AI.
Now that I've played Crysis, I have a harder time playing older games ;)
My game would be:
-First Person Shooter -Modern (would say WWII but it is way overdone, and nty futuristic) -Long Single Player Mission -Good Story -Interactive Environment -Intelligent AI -Unique Gameplay -High Quality Graphics and Sounds to feel like you are really there
Overall, I want a realistic game with some elements of fantasy that are unique so it isn't the same old boring stuff.
Nature's best screw up.

An RPG where you get sucked into the storyline.
Around 400 hours for the main storyline :p
Another 500 for all of the open-endedness.
A gigantic world thats around 200 square miles.
AI so good it could make you break down and cry.
And, Graphics that equal and go beyond Crysis.

now THAT! is a dream game. And you forgot to add in, an awesome combat system that would be AN EXACTLY PERFECT mix between gears of war, RB6: vegas, and mass effect. (yes, i do realize that gears of wars and RB6's combat systems are very much alike, except there are certain things in rainbow six that differ from GOW) XD ... Also, did anyone at all read all of what i wrote up there or just the things i bulleted?
A VR game that perfectly simulates all aspects of the universe while speeding up "time" in the game. So if you play for an hour it will seem like years have passed in the game. Then you start playing and every aspect of life is perfectly simulated, except to live forever and can choose whatever time and place to be in or go to so you can go to the beginning of the universe and watch the big bang happen, and then jump ahead and visit ancient Rome, and then jump ahead and take part in some battles of WWII, and then jump ahead and explore all of space.
Basically, the Matrix, except where you are in control.

Something extremely violent, without guns. Artillery is fine - but hand held firearms get boring to me fast.
I'm thinking about a game were you get to be a undercover cop who is dressed up as a sexy whore. Throughout the game you have to find clients around a big city and give them what they want than arrest them and you have a hidden recorder to flim all the action.
