What is your favorite gaming console and why because of the graphics, games,or just because the only thing you have. Oh and if you are a game critic what is your opinion on the Gamecube because that is my system Rikun of Rae farewell for now.
PS2. games. 'nuff said.
gamecube sucks. :)
PC. Because, if I wanted to, I could use it to store pornographic images of goats. PS2s can't do that. Even if they could, they can't then edit these images to have my head instead of the goat's head. Half-Life 2 is reason enough, but if it's not you have strategy games to back it up. It has more games than all the other consoles combined, partly because all the worthwhile games from consoles typically end up/start out on PC anyway. As well as having more games, the games are typically cheaper (ah so what if a PC costs a thousand pounds more than a console :p); a PC, being a PC, doesn't 'belong' to any one company so game developers don't have to pay royalties to anyone. Plus, because I've been using them for years, I'm more comfortable with the mouse and keyboard than with some vibrating joypad with sticks on it. I still don't see how you can so much as consider playing an FPS with one of those things, though it probably explains why Halo is so unbelievably easy on PC. And finally, I just like using a PC more than I like using a console.
I Totaly agree on Half-life 2... the pornographic images of goats... i think thats a bit much matt :p
PC is the better gaming machine... if you have the spec. At least when you buy a console game you know its going to work first time. But thats not a major flaw for me anyhoo :)
Atari 2600. easily.

nice n all, but.....
What is your favorite gaming console and why
:Puzzled:
AzHnice n all, but..... :Puzzled:
The PC plays games. It plays very good games, with unmatched graphics. My PC is a gaming console.
Technicly a PC isnt a console, a console is designed for the specific reason of playing games, a PC is not, at least, not unless you buy a PC for gaming, but thats not all it does even then.

My PC was custom-built with the specific purpose of gaming. My mobile phone is mobile and can be used to phone people. This is all that is technically required for it to be classed as a mobile phone. Yet my mobile phone also takes photos, plays MP3s, sends and receives e-mail, can surf the internet... is it no longer a mobile phone, then?
