Fallout 2. Fallout 3 was great as well but got a bit boring after a while.

Fallout 2 multiplayer was fun, but I really never got very far through the single player. I loved Fallout 3 though.

I'll have to go for Fallout 3. Simply a great game, even though I didn't play it that many times. Can't say it wasn't worth getting the game.

I've only played Fallout 3, so it is a pretty tough choice...

All bar Fallout: BoS on the consoles. Loving New Vegas atm, many improvements over Fallout3, just a few annoying bugs here & there.

Fallout 2. The shooter was fairly crap as far as characters and story went, Fallout 1 was too short.

I really liked Fallout 1, though once you got a good plasma rifle the combat wasn't really fair since you could kill almost anything in 1-2 shots.

Fallout 3 is my fav so far though, can't say about New Vegas since i haven't got it yet.

I saw a friend play this once, on Xbox 360. The one played was one of the newest incarnations. During battle, he froze time, and was able to pick and choose body parts for which to aim. That sorta sunk it for me. Total loss of immersion. May as well be turned based. Also saw another firefight where a AI guy took 12 rounds to the face with a heavy caliber rifle. From that point on i've overlooked all of these games.
