hello, i am in the early stages of making a new mod called United Federtion: Armada 2 Mod. I could use some help with the mod if anyone is interested please go to http://www.collettienterprises.com and register on the forums. Anyways what I came her for...

1) Is it possible to have more than one ship seperate? I am using the seperation thing that gonwee made for the prometheus class. I want the prom, and gal to sep but not sure if it's possible.

2) How do I make new ships start off when you start a instant action game. Like how the venture scout and the 2 consruction ships appear, how do I make new/different ships appear at the begining?

3) How do I make a torpedo weapon fire a "burst" of weapons? Like fire 4 torps, wait a few and then fire 4 more?

Unfortunately, the seperation/reintegration special weapon is hardcoded into the main executable so its currently not possible to use seperation on more than one class of vessel.

2) How do I make new ships start off when you start a instant action game. Like how the venture scout and the 2 consruction ships appear, how do I make new/different ships appear at the begining?

Open the race odf files (borg.odf, fed.odf, kling.odf, rom.odf etc.etc) using either notpad or wordpad, and add additional entries to this point: // the things you get when you ask for standard default units (instead of the map units) standardUnits1 = "fconst.odf" // construction ship standardUnits2 = "fconst.odf" // construction ship standardUnits3 = "fbase.odf" // starbase standardUnits4 = "fscout.odf" // starbase in the form of: standardUnits?? = "vessel/structure name.odf" where ?? indicates the next number in the list and the vessel/structure name.odf indicates the actuall odf name. e.g - Adding the name fspecial.odf will add a nebula class to the starting units.

i also need the burst fire thing and could someone also tell me how to make a ship able to fire on multiple targets at the same time (multi-targeting)
