Hello modding community. I just thought I would let everyone that is in charge of making a new A2 mod that I am here to help. I am EXTREMLY active and can do every aspect of modding A2, I even have 3Ds Max 5. I was going to start my own mod but I thought I would help an already existing one instead. If anyone needs help I am willing. There are certain things I want though, being a organized person and all.

1) The mod must have it's own website.

2) Must have it's own message boards. (I can get message boards Here because I work for them)

3) The mod must be organized, if I am sent non-sence things all jumbled up I will not do anything too them.

4) The project leader must have A2 modding knowledge and not be some n00b. The leader must also put in work and be active too.

5) I must be credited with work I do.

Ok well I don't think that was too bad. If you need a reference then ask the leader of Concept: Future, as I have been helping him. If you could use a hand reply or e-mail me at simon_jongkind@hotmai.com

Oi, I'd be willing to take you on as a project member. I'm in charge of the upcoming Gundam Armada project, a full-scale, in-depth A2 mod that will replace basically everything. We've got a website ( www.geocities.com/gundam_armada ), and are in desperate need of members who can actually work on the mod. I am currently the only one so far actually working on anything in the mod right now (we've got a mission scripter, but won't be needing his help for a while yet). I've been working on this thing as often as I can, but I can't do this alone (the models, texturing, etc). This is a huge project, one that will take many, many months to complete, but it'll definitely pay off in the end, I guarantee it! If you're willing to help, I'd GREATLY appreciate it. Email me at son_of_vegeta@hotmail.com and we'll discuss some things.

PS-We don't have our own forum yet. Would anyone happen to know how to open one up on FileFreak forums?

Nice attitude you have there Matrix-Virus. I know one thing. Working in the A1/A2 community as long as I have done has brought me to one conclusion. People who demand things get nothing. Your going to find that project heads will probably laugh at your list of demands (as thats what they look like to me), simply because they prefer to ask peopleto join their team, not the other way around. Also just because you have 3d max 5 (big wow there), don't think you'll go to the top of the class (as it were). I know if I was thinking of creating a small team I would want to see plenty of examples of your "work" before I would even consider you for ANY position (even beta testing). As for your statement of not wanting "noObs" involved, well let me tell you something. Every member of this community was a "newbie" at some point so you should refrain from speaking down to people.

Appologies to anyone who may consider this a little out of character but people such as mr matrix piss me off to no end.

You'd be better off jus startin workin on your own mods for a while, and releasing them, so people can see just how good you are. If the project leaders think youre good, theyll ask for you.

Well, I get where you are coming from Major A Payne. I am not expecting to be shot to the top over night, infact I do not expect to become as great of modders as yourself, Westworld, and many others. And I apologize for the newbie remark, of coarse we must always have newbies, or else after certain people leave the modding community (retire I guess you could say) there would be no one left to mod eventually. What I ment was the actually project leader should have moding experience. And my list of things I'd like the mod to have, or get eventually, is because I have seen SO many people announce a mod and get everyone all excited and then a month down the line either cancel it or just dissappear. And the reason for not creating my own mod (trust me I was close) is because 1) I am somewhat a newbie myself, and before I launched my own mod I thought I would try to go for more experience, and 2) Many of the good theme's for mod's have been already used, my own mod that I was thinking about doing was going to be set around the different gaming clans, each clan that participates getting there own hero ship or misison ect... Once again I apologize if I sounded to beligerent or demanding. And if any modders out there would like sample work then I have a few things lying around that I have made.

By the way now that I think of it, there is one thing in modding I cannot do (my specialty is graphics) and that is voiceovers (yes i can talk) so I was wandering if anyone could tell me what program is good for recording them? Thanks.

Well im in need of a texturer, so can i give you a trial? ~ Seeing as your speciality is graphics, if i was to send you a ship texture file, can you see what you can do with it, and if its good, youre on the mod. Hows that sound?

Eh, got ignored again...

Matrix, if you're willing to give me a hand, this is definitely a mod that will NOT "disappear" or be cancelled. I plan on seeing this sucker through to the end, whether I do it all by myself or not. If you help out, you'll get full credit for every thing you do (no matter how minor). I'm desperately in need of people to help, and basically no one has answered my plea for help. Well, to build a bridge and get over the river of tears I just cried, I'm still offering a position as part of Gundam Armada. It isn't much yet, but it'll be real good, real soon. Please don't be like so many others and ignore this. If you can or if you can't help, let me know. I'm getting tired of being shrugged off.

son_of_vegeta

PS-In no way am I trying to manipulate you with guilt or any crappy thing like that. It's just that I'm getting really frustrated with the lack of offers for help, while other modders are getting all sorts of it. If you want me to send you a few examples of my work (all of which are unfinished mods that need only hardpoints added), I'd be more than happy to send them your way.
