Hi all.

I know there is a thread telling you how this works and so on, but i can't get it to work.

i followed the instructions, copied and paste, then i changed the target line, but as soon as i hit the ok. i get an error saying its invalid.

Can anyone point out where im going wrong.

Thanks. Gaz

Hi,

All you have to do is to paste this " /edit yourmap.bzn" at the end of the targetline after the second quotationmark If you installed A2 in the standard directory it should look like this:

"C:\Programs\Activision\Star Trek Armada II\Armada2.exe" /edit yourmap.bzn

If you copy and paste the example above your mapeditor will work for sure. :) But it will load an small empty standard map. If you want to edit a specific map change "yourmap.bzn" into something else for example:

"C:\Programs\Activision\Star Trek Armada II\Armada2.exe" /edit mp08gorn.bzn

Now the mapeditor would find and open the map called "mp08gorn.bzn" in the bzn folder. If you ave any questions regarding the map editor dont hestitate to post.

hope this helped

YOU DON'T COPY THE EXE!!!!!!! you create a shortcut for the armada2.exe you open the Shortcut properties, insert: /edit ####.bzn at the end of the taget line. so it looks something like this:

"C:\Program Files\Activision\Star Trek Armada II\Armada2.exe" /edit ####.bzn

replace {####} with the name you want:D
