Does anyone know if there are any mods out there to add a mechwarrior/battletech race to A2 or a mod to convert A2 to the battletech universe?

If you are interested in Battletech/Mechwarrior like me and if you have mod experience then you could always work on making a battlespace version.

As a huge fan of Battletech and Aerotech I was considering this one of four possible projects. The only problem is, there would be huge problems with getting decent models created (I did have a prototype for an IS drop ship partially done), but how would you handle it??

I suppose you could have jumpships with weak armor that can't move much that use a special weapon to jump about and take ages to recharge. Warships would cost heaps and take longer to build. Weapons between warships would be mostly torpedoes that fire long distances. Killer whales etc. close in weapons would be naval ppc and autocannon, tough these would all be externally mounted if possible and could be destroyed. (Don't know about the possibility of that).

The main units in the game should perhaps be fighters and dropships. These units would do most of the fighting I guess. I don't know how the battles on the planets would take place.
