I noticed for your max plugins, you said an A1 SOD Exporter. Will this work with an A2 exporter as well?

I convert ships even without 3ds max, using only Milkshape, the Plugins, PSP and the Storm3D tool.

I kno this probably isnt the best place to ask but i am have owned Armada 1 and 2 for quite some time and i am beggining to mod ships. I downloaded the 3ds max exporter and it is not compatible with 3ds max 6. Does any1 kno a way i can convert the .3ds to .sod???? -----I also need help learning to texture in 3ds max 6 if any1 can help me beause i dont have $300 dollars to buy the complete tutorial lol

i have tried converting mod to sods before. It works up to a point, but when i try to load the ships up they build invisible.... is there something im missing?

You are probably missing a group/mesh line in the joints section. For every group/mesh you have you should have a joint called:-

m_nameofmesh

this tells the A1/A2 engine that this part should be seen in the game.

always rember to regroup the meshes(groups) that use the same texture together and call apon that group with m_ command in milkshape! also make sure your textures are either 8 bit or 16 bit (16 bit requires more skill)
