Is there a way to either allow a starbase to move or put the weapons of a starbase on a ship? One starbase can destroy nearly anything that the other side can throw at you, but it doesn't move.

You could do either.

I think to achive this its better to put the weapons on a Ship. just copy and paste all the weapons from the starbase to the ship. Here's what the a starbase weapons system looks like (it may distort a little in this message):

For changing the starbase to make it move...on the first line(inside it's odf) where it says #include "base.odf" change it to "battle.odf"

Be warn the starbase may not move if its building

You are lucky because I created one and is already on The name is movable + cloakable starbase.

But before you download, I must say that today I released version 2.0 of it. Which now includes a phase cloak and a slipstream drive for those great distances.

Sended it to todau so expect the release today or tomorrow.
