Hey I was just wondering how to make something tractorable. Is it a very hard thing to do or does it simple mean changing an odf.

All you have to do is include engine hitpoints and make sure the targetable object has the line "ship = 1". In addition to the aforementioned information, the line "is_starbase = 0" lets you move starbases (although they will no longer add to the crew pool). If you want to make moveable starbases, all you have to do is add a physics file.

The tractor beam can now lock onto the ship when the target's engines are down.

Is it possible to tractor a ship with its engines enabled?
