Angel-Eyes Well at least you know what black pudding is now.

I think I actually had this one time, and a visit to the proctologist took care of it....:moon:

Thanks heaps for the invatation Russ n Karen , Mums just had a new Knee put in . And when she got home was bittin by a deadly white tailed spider ..check them on google :( nasty venom,, ps like wise any one wanna see west australia , the same applies . live only miles from the beach and bush... thankyou Rose and Woody :bows: White tailed spiders are found in most areas of Australia, and are common in urban dwellings. They are readily identifiable by their cylindrical body shape and the presence of a white or grey spot on the end on their abdomen. They are active hunters, preying upon other types of spiders, and may be found roaming inside houses, especially in warmer weather. White tailed spiders have been implicated in some cases of Necrotising Arachnidism (skin breakdown or ulceration following spider bites). The incidence of ulceration or necrosis following white tailed spider bite is not known. The majority of cases appear not to develop ongoing ulceration, although blisters and redness are common

Ahhh Western Oz. My brother is going there next week, he flies Wednesday for three weeks of sunshine and booze. We have a friend who lives in southern Oz who came from Bradford and moved there many years ago, he's never looked back since. We wouldn't mind coming across at sometime but the price of flights is a bit scary, even the US is a bit beyond us at the mo but who knows what could happen tommorow. I suppose I could hit my brother over the head and go in his place but I don't think either Karen or my brothers girlfriend would appreciate it.

The Beans are like pork and beans. Real good on eggs, just about as good as ketchup (if you believe in that). As for the black pudding, it looks kinda like a sausage patty instead of real pudding. I tried a little, but learned I could live without it. Makes me think snails might not be so bad, what are better Biggus crunchy or chewy?:) I think beans on crunchy snails would have to be a culinary delight, as well as possibly, dare I say, a colonary delight. There are a lot of things over here that I wouldn't eat also, like seafood, as I rarely get more radical than a cheeseburger. I must admit that I did have fish and chips when I was in England a few times which were real good. @Iggy- I heard about your visits to the Proctologist. Going for THE EXAM :moon: , and then going to have 20 second opinions :lolpoint:  ! @Preacher- I'm sure that your racing experience came in handy as you negotiated the traffic and roads over there. Did you ever get the feeling, I'm not going the wrong way, they are? I was happy to be a spectater in the passenger seat of Russ' car. Did you ever walk over to the wrong side of the car to get in? I'm glad to hear that you had the opprotunity to meet Russ, Karen ,and Hewster. That's awesome! Sounds like you had a good time. @Deadeye- I was planning a trip over there next week until I heard about the spiders.

Sorry all, haven't been around much. Been at work, shopping, and trying to get a program called "Apeche2Triad" to work.

@ Ian, ouch...that looks painful. I'm sorry to hear that. :(

QueegyYeah, one of the times we found in the house was when my wife lifted up a pillow and there it was...
Oh...my...but....jeese....oh my god.....I would just fall over and die if that ever happened to me.

Brown Recluse Spider

Good lord...oh my...ugh. That side note next to the "not actual size" wouldn't make me feel any more comftorable if I saw one...
Have a go at the fangs on these blokes,The females are 10 times more deadly .when bitten 25 minutes, then if your not administered antivenom ,, you Die or a gravely ill ..But we have alot worse than these ones 2
