Presumably you can have this file run cfg (scripts) as the game loads. I have never gotten it to work in WW. Has anyone ever gotten this to work?
No, I tried but I failed. None of the exec commands I put here seem to work. A mistery for me.
Hmm....but I think it works for RTCW, right?
Editing the autoexec is not advised on WW or Wolf
I can think of no reason why you need to either ?

To execute our scripts automatically.
well I have the comma key [,] bound to execute my custom bind file. for some reason most of my custom binds won't save from game to game, but that bind will, go figure.

One you have your cfg setup, you don't need to run it every time the game starts ? I simply have a .cfg with my binds, another with my quality settings, which I run if I re-install / if wolf_mp.cfg get messed up, one I've done that they are set, ie I don't need to run them again ... Why do you need to run scripts each time the game starts ? Hewster edit oh.. @ Dragon, make sure you "seta" your commands not "set" in your custom cfg. edit2.. you may lose any new binds if your PC / Wolf crashes after you enter the new binds.. ie you must cleanly shutdown wolf to ensure new binds are saved
well when you use the same keys to change diffent functions (rotating weapon/class binds) it's wizer to use set than seta I was told....

autoexec.cfg works fine in RTCW, got one myself. it's nice because sometimes the game doesn't save all commands and then it'll reload them automatically and on every mod you'll have the same settings.
That maybe true in-game when 1 key is re-bound, but what has that got to-do with the autoexec ?
