We have decided to release the Mountain Assault map as a public beta in order to thoroughly test it out prior to the 1.6 release. This is an original map by Nib, which was ported to WildWest by El-Paolo. This map is a Beta map, meaning there are most likely still things that need fixing and the playability may need tweaking. You may also find that the performance of the map may not be very good, meaning that you may experience low Frames Per Second in some areas. A server has been set up with only the Mountain map in the rotation. The objectives are: Dynamite the main doors Dynamite the sewer entrance under the bridge to the main door Dynamite the telegraph tower Dynamite the weapon storage Dynamite the telegraph equipment So don't forget, "Where is Benito, we need a miner!" If you don't have at least one miner, you will have a tough time winning. Capiche? Did I mention that this map is a beta map? If not, this is a beta map. OK, I was just running around in the map, and I thought I had blown up all the objectives, and all my flags showed as completed for the Cowboys, but the timer still kept flashing 00:00.
Maybe I missed an objective?
ig, next time you see this double check the telegraph room. I remember we had issues with not everything blowing up when ya planted it but I though we had that covered. (if you still hear beeping noised then it still needs to be blown again)
Actually, that may be it. I noticed there were leftover tables and maps that did not get blown up all the way, pieces were floating in the air...
OK here goes the list of things I found wrong. I thought we had these corrected on a earlier release. Are we sure we put out the latest map with all the fixes?? 1. After blowing up the telegraph room: - Map is floating in air that was on big table in center of room. - Table that had the equipment is still there. Only the equipment and the legs blew away and it now floats in mid air. - Still can hear the telegraph sounds 2. The Map ended at 0:00 with not all objectives taken. The map then got hung up for a few min and then started to play again. All of the objectives that were destroyed still were gone and clock stuck at 0:00 but game still played. 3. With all of the objectives blown the game continued to play and did not stop. Again stuck at 0:00 time. 4. We blew up the weapons storage room. The roof blew off ok and all the stuff inside as normal....except there was left over TNT from the open crate floating in mid air. Well thats it for now. Again I dont think this is the latest map. As I remember we had these issues and fixed them already a long time ago. Oh and by the way: I am feeling sick! I actually wrote something that was not SPAM and dont know where to run and puke:barf:
