I have received another test PB file from PunkBuster that might fix the PB kick problem at map change. I have installed this file on our test server. Any members of the beta team should try to get on my server when they get a chance and see if they get kicked. Please let me know how it works. Iggy

iggy your better of doing on a puplic server it would be better to try for people with slow comps to see if there get kicked

This is a totally untested DLL file, and I don't really want to try it on a public server until we have at least tried it on the test server. I have no idea what will happen and it could take the whole server down, I don't really know. To be on the safe side, let's just try it on the test server first for a few, then we can put it on RockRidge if necessary.

Ig

err IMO its unusal to test unstable software on public servers. BTW I get kicked by that PB-prob only very very seldom (athlon2100+,512 MB RAM, ISDN connection, Linux).

I think if you make a server with a name like: "Punkbuster kicks test server" ,make it public for a few days or post the password here and you set the map times to like 1 minute, so there'll be alot of map changes ,then you can see if people get kicked (in PB logs etc.)
