This idea to put Lone Wolf on 12 players ,made it by Ignacio and (Wolf) Danny, is verry good for others servers.Idea goes for a make people play on other servers . :bows:. But doesn't work as expected. The servers are still empty. So I tought we , members of GF, should do somthing TOGETHER and halp so at this lovely idea comes through. :naughty: My idea is to make 2 or 3 groups of players (members of GF) who will play at same day in the same time on 2 or 3 differents servers. We can do it 1 or 2 days in the week. That means 1 group of x player go and play on Lone Wolf ,the second group go on Easyconnect at the same day and same time. Why do it? The first reason is: The differents servers will keep WW runing .We all know that server will stop runing WW if players don't play on it.It would be a shame. The second reason is: This way we can attract more new players. The new players and some of experienced players won't join the empty server. So if thay can see at someone is already there so they will join and play. ok , I know that this idea is maybe little bit strange for you all but it is one good idea.It is about time to do somthing together for this best mode in the world. If some one has other ideas so just bring them in

I think you will find as the warmer weather comes that people will spend less time indoors and playing on WW. It just one of those things. The idea for reducing the amount of players on Lone Wolf is a good one as it does spread players around but, when people want more than 6 players a side they move to another server. I can see some problems in the not too distant future when the EL- clans server goes online, monies are already coming in for the the first installment, so we'll find then that the balance could be tipped again.

well, I've started doing this, and maybe others will too. When I'm about to jump on, I'll fire up the ts server and see who's where, then grab some of the folks and jump on one of the 'empty' servers.

We've all seen servers come and go because people either don't use them beacause of bad pings or the server isn't set up right, in some cases it's because there's no way of getting in touch with an admin when there's a problem player around. To be honest I think all of these factors can cause the demise of a server. Lone Wolf is used most of the time because it is moderated and if there's a problem then something can be done about it, like Beetle Jz, the admin is always lurking about also both have good pings from boths sides of the sea.

This is why i'm glad that the server related forum has been made public again, afterall if a player does have a problem with a server or has any ideas on how to improve that server, the admin can take note and make any adjustments. It's a two sided coin really and it's not only the players that should make the effort in making a server work, the admins need to improve that playing experience.

Danny is a damn fine example, he's improved Lone Wolf no end and If you notice there is an e-mail address where you can send your comments on how to improve the server. This is the sort of thing we should be seeing from server owners. Get the player involved and your on a winner.

Well I agree, the set up and the ping of a server is an explanation. But not only. Most of the time, a player join a server because he see some players on it. then the snake bites its tail! Everyone goes in Lone Wolf because everyone goes in Lone Wolf!

So it's up to the admins to improve their servers but it's up to the players to join the servers and contact the admins to help them (see my post http://www.gamingforums.com/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=114852 for contacts)

Maybe food for thought: If you set up servers to run different maps/rotations you will attract certain people to certain servers (ie pass da bong will live in the server hosting the town map). If you also devide servers in a way that some have loads of maps and others have only one or two m aps in rotation that will split people up as well to join their favourite. Still the major problem is the number of peeps playing WW, we need more people to fill all servers, this means more advertisement otherwise we all keep cueing up for Lone Wolf.
