English RoseE-mails are sent out to the testers, there is comunication between testers, we was testing sunday night. But, why would you know any of this, you aint a tester anymore  Things are coming along quite nicely thank you. peace and happiness to everyone. :) :)
lol , the answer even amazes the public, without any reason the list gets cleared, people willing to test WP,GG i should have expected a descent answer without even saying that i was a tester nor in this matter i was speaking for people who had been on the list for ages and not have recieved word since.. (dont bother with Ringo u dont know .. its pointless, A ASE B Public players C development) i am not a tester anymore , glad to be of service in the past....noted that testing is professionally done by the people responsable for the entire game ... and provides descent communication with people that actually play the game ... im stunned by the fact that this is handled "professionaly" and giving the people the right to their oppinion .. which eventually gets people excluded from forums and for gaming ... for beeing honest and beeing 100 gamer , instead of licking ballpoints and giving a statement...every mouth got shut every idea smacked , gameplay "should" improve in 1.6 ... keep on testing... keep it up ... if u say jump i say sit down ....
The list of testers was pruned from 40 down to 20 five months ago. December 30th to be precise. 40 testers was a bit more than we needed. We found that one person who, at that time, hadn't been put on either list, but I'm told that everyone else was emailed about their status and offered our gratitude for all they'd done so far. You were amoung the list of 20 that were cut. Everyone had to be on one list or the other. The 20 remaining testers were the ones that had showed up for most, if not all, of the testing sessions during December. They were also the ones that got along the best with the remainder of the testers on the list. We further divided that list into alpha and beta testers. That meant when when we started testing the full installs, the mailings were narrowed down to just those on the alpha testers list. As you can imagine, 20 downloads a day of a 230mb file can start to add up and eat away at the bandwidth allowed for even the best web hosting packages. This last weekend we had a Friday version, a Saturday version and a Sunday version of the download. It didn't make sense to have all 20 testers downloading it. That's not to say that the beta testers haven't done their own fair share of work over the last couple months too. All twenty of them have been a great help.
thanks for the info queeg , i didn't know there where alpha and beta testers around , base problem communication prolly , i could have hosted the files for all testers for free on 1GB link so no worries but then again im always too late anyway ... i hope the public beta recieves as much users as u now claim to be :P since i count only a handfull of people that actually play :P (no offence on the playing bit yet offence on the non playing bit)
np Ringo. Thanks for the offer for the hosting. I'll keep it in mind.
