It's a great marketing strategy though. Not only is there a greater chance of attracting potential customers who were looking for something else, the URL stays in the mind.
Heck, I think this thread proves the effectiveness of those URLs! =p
There is also the possibility your parents see one of those on the history, and without thinking, accuse you for being a perv and you get ground forever.
I can just imagine my dad seeing 'Expertsexchange' in my history.

I actually buy domains along these lines just for kicks when I can afford to (I've also sold a couple on at fair profit to give me some beer money). Suffice to say that one of them was rejected by the San Marino government for being tasteless. :(
The domain names are typically purchased because of their ambiguity. Some aren't, I'll bet that PowerGen customers in Italy have no idea, for example, that they've written something quite rude in English. But the ones that are on that list have gotten more hits than any website I put together.
