MALESTROM;3675072Wow, once again, read between the lines, I said, it's a good thing that the child died, not because he deserved to, but because he didn't deserve to endure such a horrible life in a horrible area, when he never asked to be put there in the first place...my god, you people don't get it...

no i fully understand what your saying but you dont understand the point im trying to make who says this child was going to be their the rest of his life who knows what this child could have done for this world his family think ahead a little

For those of you who like to hear of justice: "Tuesday June 5, 05:12 PM" .....Arrests over toddler's shooting Police would "dearly love" to get their hands on a firearm used in the fatal drive-by shooting of two-year-old Jhia Te Tua in Wanganui last month, Detective Senior Sergeant Chris Bensemann said today. In a breakthrough in the month-old case, two men were today charged in the Wanganui District Court with the murder of Jhia." They have the main criminals. Thought youd like to know. So many threads drift off without a conclusion. here:http://nz.news.yahoo.com/070605/3/kvh.html

MALESTROM;3664146It was good for those gang members to do so, it was meant to happen... Why?So the kid wouldn't have to grow up in such a horrible enviorment, and that little burst of pain probably went a long way to prevent a hurting soul from living the rest of their life seeing these things.... So, some actual good came out of it...

wow are you heartless? must be eh?

Sa Anupuw;3718853wow are you heartless? must be eh?

(Not singling you out, you're just the most recent poster)

Everyone seems to see the guy's point, and then instantly dismiss it...

I'm not saying I agree, I'm just not saying that this it's the kind of thing you can dismiss out of hand. A child dying in a gun crime is a tragedy, anyone knows that, but so is living a life of crime and being reduced to merely a shell of the contributing member of society that you could be.

It reminds me of the differing views of death. There's the view that a majority of the people I know share - That the person's death should be mourned, and the view that I typically attribute to Irish traditions - Where the life of a person is celebrated instead. They're two equally valid viewpoints to the same situation, and neither is more heartless than the other. It's just different.

I guess what I'm saying is that don't assume something that doesn't agree with your typical view is bad. I for one try not to. The views expressed in this thread are several weeks old, I think the time to ridicule them without second thought is long over.

In the meantime, arrests have been made, justice may have been served for this case, but the story is still tragic.

*returns to his hole*
