all the threads on this site deal with making existing ATP systems work but how do i add them in the first place:clueless:

ok... when u open the ATP program... it will ask u a short series of questions in regards to the characteristics of the ship. at the end of those questions, there is an affiliation number. put this number into the affliation line in ur hardpoint file of ur ship.. it will look like this:

Sovereign = App.ShipProperty_Create("Sovereign")

Sovereign.SetGenus(1) Sovereign.SetSpecies(102) Sovereign.SetMass(10000.000000) Sovereign.SetRotationalInertia(10000.000000) Sovereign.SetShipName("CGSovereign") Sovereign.SetModelFilename("data/Models/Ships/CGSovereign.nif") Sovereign.SetDamageResolution(20.000000) Sovereign.SetAffiliation(0) Sovereign.SetStationary(0) Sovereign.SetAIString("FedAttack") Sovereign.SetDeathExplosionSound("g_lsDeathExplosions") App.g_kModelPropertyManager.RegisterLocalTemplate(Sovereign)

Find: Sovereign.SetAffiliation(0)

enter the value of the affliation number that ATP gave u where the "0" is at. Now ur ships will have the ATP characteristics that you wanted

Some of the systems like Ablative Armor you have to add using the MPE, then fill in the affiliation number.
