Him i want to buy the book It Never Snows in September: The German View of Market Garden and the Battle of Arnhem, September 1944 by Robert J. Kershaw but all those different prices at all those different amazones confuse me, compare the american amozne price to the british one for example it stuns me! Amazone.com asks $49.99 dollar (€40,72/£27.86) (new) look here amazon.co.uk asks £12.08 pounds (€17.66/$21.68) look here amazone.de asks 94,95 euro($115.39/£64.31)(isnt even new) else it would be 22,90 ($27.01/£15.05). look here amazone.fr asks 26,66 euro ($31.92/£17.79) (new) look here So i would probably have to order via the british amazone.com depending on the shiping costs. Since i never used amazone.com before i would expect them to show the prices on the other amzones.coms aswell why order a book in germany for €94,95 when you can order it in the UK for€17.66 from the same goddamn compagny?) And apart from that, it's just better for you to order from uk/france, otherwise it will 1. take very long to deliver and 2. cost more.

It's the same compagny but not the same manager in every countries. Thus not the same price in every countries.

i know, but i was quite suprised by these price differences though. I would expect amazone to use roughly the same prices with small price differnces of 5-10% or so. ohwell i think that i will buy the book on amazone.co.uk too bad that you cant look inside the book though (not only because i cant touch the book also because amazone doesnt have the "look inside"option for this book. bah! i know that it is a good book but i want to look inside nonetheless :( .

I guess that nobody on GF has this book in english or german? The german title is "Arnheim '44, Im September fällt kein Schnee"

I did ask checked all the libaries in the region (online search, must if not all libaries here have an online catalogues) i also tried all of the major book shops in the city of Leiden. None of them had the book in either english or german :( bah! edit: when i went to arnhem last friday they didn't even sold it anymore in the airborne museum (which is about the battle of arnhem) nor in a couple of bookshops i checked out there. :(
