:fistpunch: I was wondering if anyone made the Ambassador Class Refit that was on the U.S.S. Yamaguchi for BC? I know of P81's model but it is of the old design,(one error on that model - the impulse engine on the ship should be blue not red - but can easily be fixed by anyone with a image editor). Or maybe he allowed someone else to do a simple retexture of the ship so that it resembles the refit, but I would prefer a updated model as well. If there is a site to get it at could someone please direct me to it, any help will be appreciated. I know I could just go to P81 and make a request but I am sure that he is very busy. Oh well, I sure hope he would make one... I know he has before since he made one for starfleet command at his old website.

I know who to ask. P81 wont be making any mode releases himself, but there are a couple people allowed to kitbash and alter his stuff. I might be able to get one, but don't get your hopes up. May need to try a different author, Admiral, who is just as good.

I have a fibre-optic model of the USS Yamaguchi staring at me every night and it clearly has red nacelles and looks almodt identical to p81's Ambassador

Yes, your model is the refit it has red impulse engines and caps over the bussard collectors a bigger shuttle bay and the saucer section is moved back a bit, so it really should not look identical to the one P81 made... unless the model you have was before the refit was introduced but I dought that, and just as I said before yes the engine is red on P81's model but that is WRONG it IS supposed to be blue and that may also be why it looks almost identical to yours. Read up on it at www.ditl.org/ships/hedambassador.htm and www.ex-astris-scientia.org/articles/ambassador.htm

...and thanx starforce2 for your help I really hope you get one.

Was Admiral Necheyev's (I know that's spelled wrong.) flagship in the Seventh season a refit ambassador class?

Probably, considering all exisiting vessels (except the enterprise c) were refited to spesifications after the Yamaguchi was launched.

THe Yamaguchi and Enterprise-C are both regular ambassadors, they have slight design differences, however there is an Ambassador refit, I got this pic of it from StarTrekAustralia.com, as u can see, this is a refit along the lines of the original Enterprise refit, i.e, majors changes

Ummm. I don't think that that picture is cannon and there is at least one major structural difference between those two ships... Just go to: http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/articles/ambassador.htm Read the article and see.
