I agree with FileTrekker. Money isn't somethine to measure people by. I don't get jealous that people have more money than me. I just get bummed sometimes when I'm broke. (All I have on me is 2 dollars....lol). Anyways. I don't think money provides true happiness. Yeah you can get anything you want and be happy for awhile but that's not true happiness.
Yep, that would just about do it.
Well I mean money could make you happier because if you were some poor old piece of nothing on the side of the street, a couple 100 bucks wouldn't seem so bad now would it? :naughty: But, if you are doing pretty good, nice house, nice furniture and all that junk, I don't think you should worry about getting more money because you are a lot luckier then some people like people in homeless shelters.
Money, as in readily available in cash or credit, is always welcome by anyone, and always loved. Simple, end of dicussion. Well, its not really, but you get the idea.

The money isnt everything but i sure wish i had more. We arent poor but... Seeing all the people in our school who can afford bying motorbikes and getting girls with them and with other cool stuff makes me want more "scratch" too! Now i have a friend showing off that he is riding his motorbike with a 16 year old model. Well you have to be born in the right family too (like he is). Im studying my ass off and trying to get to as good place as possible where to study and from there get a good job. In the mean time my richer friends arent doing anything because they think if they have everything they want now, they will have it in the future too. I really want to see them in 10 years. If i ever get to a good job and get wealthy enough, im going to put some money on charity and make good things using my position. :)
AntiKilleRIf i ever get to a good job and get wealthy enough, im going to put some money on charity and make good things using my position.
That's probably easier than done.
As for me, I can agree with those who admire those that have worked hard for their wealth. Oh, and making animals happy is a good thing.
im not jealous of anyone rich but cocky , stuck-up rich kids piss me off
I would die without GF

I try to send as little time being jealous as possible, for any reason. I do feel fortunate (and perhaps somewhat envious) of those with more wealth and luxuries than myself, but I mainly focus on being happy with and making the best of what I have. I feel that optimism in that regard (plus in many others) will carry me farther in the long run.
Yes, anyone who says they aren't are bullshitting. I am not jealous to an extreme though.
Hmm...You are somewhat right Jhawk. You have to take into account all people. Which includes third-world countries. In those places they could do without money. But wealth for them would mean who has more livestock/resources than others. Also, I am pretty sure that there are people out there that do not want more money. Their reasons could be that it's more than they want to handle (large sums of money anyway, enough to be "wealthy" by first-world countries), that money may make them complacent, or that they would want to give it to charity as someone had said here. I don't want to be extremely rich. It'll spoil me, and I don't want that. Yes, I would like some money to help survive. I think if I was extremely rich, I would probably turn into an asshole, but that's just what I think what would happen to me...which is why I don't want to be rich. You have to put it in perspective: You have a roof over your head, you have food on the table, you have a bed and probably your own room to sleep in. That's a whole lot more than what third-world countries have. People should be more appreciative of what they have than rather what they don't have or want. People take it for granite so much, even I take it for granite a lot too, and I have to keep reminding myself that things could be way worse than they are now. Edited for clarity.
