Whatever quick fix you're looking for, you won't find it.

I make some money online by one of two ways, one I have a business that operates online and generates some income, the second is I have a couple of popular websites that generate ad sense revenue.

Both required hard work and time, but even so the income isn't enough for me to live on, not comfortably at least, which is why I also have a day job. The money I make online I use either emergencies or to treat myself.

I used to generate some income by offering my services as freelance (web) programmer for pretty much any language, spare AJAX stuff.

Either way, as FT said, it requires hard effort and time investment. If you're not willing to, then you might as well just not consider this way of getting income. And even if you're freelancer, you can't really call it a stable income, and thus you'll probably need a day job as mentioned by FT, unless you happen to make a high amount of money with one project and have several ones waiting in queue.

No. Do you want me to cut your internal organs out while you're still alive and conscious?

Does direct deposit of my paycheck count?

I write news articles, and I get payed via paypal. But it's by no means the same amount that someone working for the NY Times or something like that, but it's money and it's good to have.

Try playing eBay, people make money buying and selling all the time, as long as there are people willing to pay the money. It's no get rich quick scheme, but you can make some decent cash.

I still do some freelance work as a web/graphic designer. I've been out of touch for a couple of years, though, and am currently reading up on HTML5 and I do have one project on the go. I juggle that around my main job as a duty manager at Premier Inn in town.

To the OP, you really shouldn't try and pin your hopes on making money online. It's a tough market to break in to and if by some miracle you DO break in to the market, you have to ensure you keep it up. Slack off for even one day and your profits will take a major hit.

I used to make a few quid here and there by selling/leveling accounts on Runescape using a mates website. A clan in WoW paid me real money to get gold but I think they were then selling it on as one of the bot/spammers so I stopped....mainly because they were selling it on for more.

Also made money by levelling accounts on Everquest. There was a third party company that paid me to play Diablo 2 by getting rare items which they would sell and I would get a large cut of the profits.

Obviously this was when I was younger and had more time. Had to be in by 9o clock and used to break my schools proxy server to play online.
