i've had an idea, can't we use the same model, p81 intrpid, then use armour textures. make a script so that when armour deployed it put the new textures or a rescaled model of the intrepid on top of the normal 1.
Wouldn't that work, the rescaling can be done by the game can't it? Would this work?
I have made a scaling script, but it is only usable on small scales (due to hard points, torpedo sizes, but aparantly also speed (a Galaxy going at intercept speed with 927KPH!), though the planets looked nice...).
I might be able to adapt that for this, it is currently only taking rust...
But do have one other problem, the Armoured version of Voyager is less smooth than the normal Voyager. I have P81 intrepid, so I will download the armoured one.

Besides, the original author was P81, the textures where redone by Trunks999 and Joxbo.

One part of my Tech Expansion Mod (Currently in BETA Testing on the BCU Scripting Forum) is Ablative Armour, complete with deployment (although its not quite like the show).
It will go on BCFILES eventually, once I'm sure all the bugs have been worked out
