Hello, I just registered this forum while surfing and I’m curious about what you think about Bing. According to some news it already started to overtake Yahoo. But it seems to me they can’t beat Google. I think more creative ideas and some vision is needed to overtake Google. Besides of that there’s adsense and adword industry. Google is creative and established firm, Bing brings nothing new to us. If Google creates linux based operating system, maybe they can overtake Microsoft?
It's been out like what, a week? It'll take a while to get the amount of traffic that other sites get
I read that Google is worried about Bing and made it a priority to upgrade their own system. I tried Bing but it didn't really strike me as superior. I'm used to google's layout so I'll probably just keep using that for now.
I heard about Bing a while back from someone (I think my uncle). He told me that it gives you exactly what you are looking for and only that vs. Google giving you 100s of results.
I have yet to try it. I'm happy with Google anyway.

Not unless they can fully emulate the MS API. Of course android will be nice if it will be able to run all linux apps.
That said, I heard that bing is actually quite good. In some cases better than linux. But right now, that the real bing only works for the US currently. It's just a rebranded live search in other regions right now. I just heard that, can't confirm.
what bing?
I'm gonna start using bing. Google is gettin' gay.
This is the first I've heard of it, but upon inspection I really like it.
Hopefully this is the beginning of a beautiful search engine relationship.
I take what n0e says way too seriously

Thats where google comes out on top for me too.
I don't see any difference in the search results for Bing, and Google is so simple it's damn near perfect. I don't think you'll ever see Google be taken down as top dog in the search business. Hell, Google has made it into everyday language at this point. You can say "I'm going to google that when I get home." and it doesn't really sound very ridiculous anymore.
