I'm quite frankly baffled this hasn't sparked a thread yet.
Last night, a bomb car filled with gasoline, gas cilinders and nails was found in central London, near picadilly circus. It was found by accident by a few ambulance workers who were called to a nearby nightclub. Bomb squads were called in and a carnage was averted.
Does anyone else get flashbacks from '05? I'm truly shocked to hear this, though relieved to hear it was found before it exploded. Any thoughts?

I read they found a second bomb in Hyde Park, although that may turn out to be a flase alarm.
It's great that the police was able to disarm those bombs in time, I guess a car-sized bomb would have been even more desastrous than the bombs used in the last attacks on London.
Heard this on the radio earlier. Bloody lucky they found it in time, if that thing was still there when the surrounding nightclubs emptied for the night, well...
If those went off when the were supposed to, that would have caused some serious deaths and injuries. Thank God they are on top of things over there in London.
I'm way cooler than n0e (who isn't though?)

Glad to hear that everything got sorted out, though I kind of wonder..
How long will it be until one slips through? Surely they can't get every bomb or terror plot there is? I just get the feeling that this kind of peace we have at the moment won't last much longer.. =/
