How big is the box?
rookiebombtech;4434273it doesnt stop smelling but the gas particles may spread out so far between each other that it is below our smelling range so to us it wont smell but will still be there
Like if you fart in an enclosed room, the smell vanishes after a couple of minutes.
Serio;4434253I guess it can. If you leave water in an airtight jar for 5 years, it vanishes. How? Why? Where? No clue. It just vanishes.
Exactly. There are certain gasses that transform to liquid mass when they're enclosed. I can't remember what though.
Well, enclosing something might lower it's temperature, so it condenses. Specifically which gasses to you mean?
I can't exactly remember. It was a dark liquid though.
Sounds like bromine to me. Not sure, though.
Well it depends on what kind of gas it were. a) If it can have reaction with the air present in the airtight box. b) If it can resublime on the walls of the jar.
well there are many things!!!
Well, no if it was an airtight box the smell would remain.
