First off: You're not in love, you're 15.

She never shared the same feelings for you. She most likely never will.

If she wanted a relationship, she would be giving you more then hugs. No, I am not talking about sex.

It is time to move on. If you've been mopping around for 2 years about the same damn girl, there is a problem. Time to man (hint hint) up and accept life, and find someone else.

Some girls just like hugs. Some mean something more by it, others don't -- its kinda hard to tell. But yeah, I agree with Seinfeld, you need to move on. I kinda know what you feel like, but trust me, its alot better if you do.

I'm not going to be as harsh and simple as SeinfeldRules, but the man does have a point.

You're only beating yourself up if you continue to follow whims and small actions, simply because I get the impression it is what you want it to be. When I first started Highschool I met this girl called Monique, she was beautiful, funny, and I was obsessively attracted to her, and for the next year I proceeded to chase her as if she was a dog on heat. In the end, I only just wore myself down, and only gained negative memories.

As hard as it might be mate, I suggest just becoming her friend and nothing more.

However, if you are hellbent on winning this girl over then keep persevering, just remember there is a fine line between stupidity and determination.

Chris;4370702My point was that she was very uncomfortable with the concept for a long time.

Ah, hmm. Well, my only close anectdote is that sometimes a girl won't hug you because she doesn't think she should date you (because she already has a boyfriend, say), but then does when she's comfortable with it (because she gives up on the pre-college boyfriend, for instance). I don't really know if thats relevant, but thats my personal experience with something kind of similar. (It didn't turn out well, though...)

She didn't have a boyfriend, and as of now does not either.

I know. I'm just saying it may be possible that she's kind of open to dating you right now. Thats just a guess made on my personal exierence, though; I didn't know if it related.
