Tell me, was is it like? Is it worth finishing up three credits and skipping senior year?

You have 3 choices............................

College - Party, get wasted almost daily, and get a job at a fast food joint.

Trade School - Get a career and work your ass off for the rest of your life as a blue collar worker.

Just party.

Or the third option, Work hard, get good grades and graduate into a decent job.

Sorry, not sure if I was misunderstood. What is college like? I need three credits to graduate from high school. Would it be wise for me to take some summer courses and head for college, or just finish up my last year in school before heading out?

How old will you be? Not to sound weird, but if you're not 18 yet, that makes some complications with how the other "older" students treat you and how the school rulls apply, because you aren't technically an adult yet.

Finish as soon as possible, get the learning part out of the way, or at least further advanced.

If I were 18, you'd say go for it? Finish quick and head to college?

Ya, I don't see why not. Waiting is only going to get you out of the habit of school. And you may find yourself less motivated by then...

I was going to convince a friend of mine to just wait out her senior year. I guess it's best I just let go, and let her leave. :(

I could do the same, take a few summer courses and then go. I'd still only be sixteen though.

I waited out my senior year. I only needed like 2 more credits, which I could have done in the summer. It would have put me in college at 17. In retrospect.. it was a good decision. Too many things happened over the last year. Things could have gotten complicated if I'd gone. I didn't lack confidence before... but somehow I just seem more prepared for it now.
