I heard you aren't supposed to sleep with them in because it increases the chances of infection by 80%. My eye doctor told me that you should keep them in no longer than 8 hours a day.

I would take them out if I were you.

they are probably part of his eyes now. taking them out would require intense sergury and possible eye patches. he is one with the contacts!!!

Teqila;3415470Contacts aren't that hard to get used to, hell I've been wearing the pair I have in my eyes right now for almost a month straight without taking them out and they're Acuvue 2. Acuvue 2 isn't meant for that kind of thing yet my eyesight doesn't seem to have been damaged by them nor have I gotten a serious eye infection.

HELLO - your not suppose to leave em' in that long dude! They can and will damage the iris/pupil:smack:

Wow, I'm glad I don't have contacts. My Ex used to complain about hers all the time and I could never do it. I have no vision impairments and I'm surprised being I use computers so much. If I had to get corrective eyewear though, I'd just get glasses. Maybe someday in the future they will just make pills you take once a day or week that improve your vision.

EDIT: Ah, ok then. Well perhaps there might be some superpill in the future that can do something for it.

A pill can't fix your vision. It has to be physically/optically corrected because it is a condition caused by an improper eye shape causing light to focus in front of or behind the retina.

coolduderyan07;3414781I put a little lubricant on each one before I place them in my eye

Be sure you keep that bottle of lube away from the anal lube, it's probably not the a multi-purpose kind.

But yeah, I wouldn't suggest ever putting a lens back in your eye that's been like that. My eye once started hurting an assload, and by contact popped out. Turns out thara was a rip about 1/8 of an inch in it, and that=no fun at all.

well.....when i stay the night at my friends house, sometimes i will forget my contact case, but i dont want to sleep with them (even though i have before) so i just take them out and set them on his dresser. then when i wake up they are dried out, but then my friend just puts his in his eye in the morning and i stick my friend up one in his case, wait for them to thaw, then stick them in my eye for and wait for the new day to come :)...i do also sleep in them but sometimes i dont liek to

Pfft, LCD screens don't protect your vision, they damage it just as bad. In fact, the screens on hand held games do it the most.
