Shintsu;3416364Pfft, LCD screens don't protect your vision, they damage it just as bad. In fact, the screens on hand held games do it the most.

Yes they do...and most vision problems tend to be genetic...which is why everyone in my mom and dads family have some sort of visual problem. I got lucky until about 26 when the vision started slipping and chances are my kids will too since their mom also has vision problems. for More Info: https://www.vsp.com/member/html/will_my_children_inherit.jsp

They don't emit radiation, but they're still not great on your eyes. Look at a DS for several hours and tell me your eyes don't hurt.

i remember reading something with CRT screens made your eyes alot more tired than LCD screens. i think it had something to do with the refresh rate or something. my mom has glasses now, my dad has fine vision, i hope i have my dads genes, my eye color is kind a mix of blue and green...only time will tell.

If you’re talking about the little screens – well overstating the obvious here, but light is a form of radiation if you think about it, but that’s not what causes the problem, I think it has to do with focusing on one particular object for too long for some it can strain the eyes and over time cause problems.
