Why does it seem easier to control someone else sometimes (for some people) and not control yourself? In my family, my father always tried to control my mother, it was only because he had no control over himself.

This was in the way of taking her pay check every week from work and always trying to make sure he knew EVERYTHING about her. I think that's controlling and downright rude.

Why do people try to do this? I think maybe it's because they have no control over their OWN mind.

Now, I wonder, is it possible to have COMEPLETE and utter control over yourself and NO MATTER how life's circumstances seem to go, overcome and rise to the top? I think it might be possible for ANYONE to attain this. I feel that people would be much happier IF they could rise to the top and be on top (then maybe if everyone was on top, who'd be on bottom).

I don't think its possible to have complete control over your self, but if you really tried, I'm sure you could get close.
