Is there any way to edit or convert a .pyc file? some ships i have just have the .pyc file. sorry if this question has already been answered, i did look at the thread names to see if it was. Thanks for any help.

pyc's are created when that object is used ingame. IF you want stock py files you need to download the sdk.

All the stock pyc files (ships, projectiles, systems and all other stock pyc files) are in the SDK. If you want to decompile other pyc files then I can recommend Defiants site. It has a pyc decompiler.

defiant, ur thing wont send me the actual .py FILE, it will only show me wot is in it.

lol copy it and paste it into notepad, then save as whatever.py

for the 'send-part' you have to enable javascript. -But copy and pasting is the much better way since javascript is crap.
