A 15-year-old girl with a peanut allergy died after kissing her boyfriend, who had just eaten a peanut butter snack
That is SAD :(
Wow, that really is sad. God, stupid boyfriend though. What a retard, if you know that your girlfriend ia llerigc to peanuts. then... well, god just don't eat them. If he didn't know it, well, then it'd just be sad.
I have someone in my class who's allergic to peanuts, she hasn't been in school for like 5 days now. I heard it had to do with peanuts aswell.

So many opportunities for jokes... so many reasons for not making them... Seems like everybody's allergic to peanuts these days. Why is that, anyway?
I use to but not any more. I feel sad for the girl. What a retard bf.
Ahw.. that's sad indeed.. Didn't know peanut-allergy could be that bad..
You can either agree with meor be wrong.

I don't know if this is true or not, but I heard somewhere that it is believed some of the lotions out there that contain peanut oil may increase the chance of developing an allergic reaction to peanuts. Don't know where to verify that though.
A sad story :( I can't really "blame" the BF, I'm sure he didn't do it on purpus.. Maybe he didn't even know the girl was allergic for peanuts, the kiss could be an ordinary kiss who youngsters give at disco's, party's etc.
IF the boy knew that she was allergic for peanuts, I'm sure he didn't know that a girl could die from a single kiss. I didn't know that either. I mean, there are alot of people allergic for peanuts, but when a partner ate some and later gave the girl a kiss, I wouldn't expect the girl to die.

AgentlaidlawI use to but not any more. I feel sad for the girl. What a retard bf.[/quote]Uhm I doubt he did it on purpose... "I'm cool I have a girlfriend, hmm let's stage an "accident" so I heir all heir belongings... oh wait we have to marry first". H might not even have know about her allergy or not being aware that he was putting her at risk by eating a sandwhich with peanut butter and kissing her later on.
It all sounds a bit odd (as in that I'm quite suprised to hear this) to me, it is only a kiss so either she was extremly alergic to peanuts or they kissed very passionately. Regardless I think it's an unfortunate accident and I feel sorry for the girl (and her family and relatives) to have died. :(

To quote the article:
"Peanut allergies have been rising in recent decades. The reason remains unclear, but one study found that baby creams or lotions with peanut oil may cause children to develop allergies later in life."
I read about that, laughed and then slapped myself for being so cruel. I also knew a kid with a peanut allergy. That really sucked for him, because he couldn't eat ANY peanut products. Although it can't be nearly as bad as a wheat allergy or... an alcohol allergy!
