American Bandstand: Famed TV Producer Dick Clark Dies at 82 - chicagotribune.com

I personally never really watched him, or knew a lot about him, but a lot of people did, and he certainly lived a long life. Or at least, longer than most.

While it's a shame to lose yet another TV icon, try harder with your threads.

At least post some sort of comment instead of just a URL. If I wanted to read that I'd subscribe to an RSS News feed bot.

I didn't think it would get posted here as most here are young. I remember watching him in my earlier years going back to the 70's. I just got off the phone with my mother and she said she even watched him in the 50's.

This is the the guy that introduced people like Stevie Wonder and Jackson 5(Michael Jackson) to the world.

He was 82? Must have had some work done along the way because he didn't look that age.

He was a great man, a great host, and a great legend. I enjoyed his presence of this planet, and I will miss no longer seeing him.

May he never be forgotten.
