I just discovered how cool this is. I used to not watch much TV but have started watching some of the new shows. I can't get Fox in HD so I watch it in analog panorama mode on my HDTV. Heck I can't even get 5.1 audio on the shows I do get in HD as I have nothing to decode the PCM signal back to 5.1. I just missed the 4th episode of Terminator thinking I'd have to wait for a summer rerun to watch it. Not only did I watch the whole episode last night on my PC monitor it was in HD, streamed smoothly and quickly, had no commercial interruptions, took only 43 minutes, and I had full 5.1 audio to boot! This is awesome, sure my monitor is smaller than my TV but it's no big deal because I actually get a big enough picture and better positioning to the speakers when I sit a bit closer. I also watched some Lost on ABC but they have annoying little commercials. I'm sure NBC probably has this too as well as CBS. It's going to be quite nice with Fox and ABC because like I said I can't get HD reception on Fox and ABC HD reception is hit and miss for me.

I watch a lot of TV shows on my PC, and not always using the methods provided by NBC, ABC, CBS......but we won't get into that...
The internet is the future, and the networks are realizing this

Well, I rarely watch television, especially now that I don't have access to one during the week. ;)
Still wasn't fully aware that many networks were beginning to stream certain reruns.
As for it being the future, unfortunately so is ISP charging "tolls" based on usage.
Revenge was here.

If I can find a new episode of Curb your enthusiasm, I would right now. The rest I watched on my comp as well. Not in HD though.
I didn't make it!

well over here in the UK they are offering us 'unlimited' even though it isnt as there is alot of competition as there are the big dogs sky, virgin, bt, and then some other large ones and even small ones that offer a great service if any of them try that they will lose business fast
plus i do watch a few shows on bbc online occasionally and the odd film via sky :D
