Just wondering if anyone else (in the UK) felt that earthquake last night. It was around 1am, and it freaked me the hell out but I knew what it was. Quite big compared to the last small one we had a few years ago too.

Yeah I felt that. My TV fell over too (didn't break though thankfully). They say people as far away as Holland felt it, or at least the aftershock or whatever it's called.

Well I'm in Staffordshire near Birmingham, but I read people all over the country have felt it.

I live in a town called Barnsley (in Yorkshire)... here some guy broke his pelvis when the chimney on his house fell through the roof and straight on to him while he was sleeping (painful!).

Yeah, I felt it. Bed started to shake whilst I was watching a film, and a few items fell off the shelf above me.

The bastard thing woke me up. When I woke up again this morning I wasn't sure if it actually happened, thought I'd just dreamt it. Guess it was real though :p
